Desde el 2011, el termostato de Nest a ahorrado más de 4 billones de kWh de energía en hogares al rededor de todo el mundo. E inclusive un estudio independiente muestra que el producto ahorra un porciento de 10-12 % en facturas de calefacción, y un 15 % en facturas de enfriamiento. Esencialmente, dentro de dos años, el producto se paga por si mismo.
Valorado en $249 dólares, algunas de sus características únicas incluyen un calendario automático, que se memoriza tus temperaturas preferidas y se programa por si mismo en menos de una semana. También se apaga automáticamente cuando nadie esta en el hogar para ahorra energía, también muestra una pequeña hoja cuando se escoge una temperatura que ahorra energía, este te dirige en la direccion correcta para eficiencia energética. Cuando Nest nota que alguien entra la habitación, el termostato se prende para mostrar la hora o la temperatura puesta. Adicionalmente, el termostato manda alertas si nota algo mal con las temperaturas, por ejemplo, si las las temperaturas están muy bajas, lo cual puede causar rupturas en las tuberías.
Impresionantemente, el termostato se puede controlar a través de Wi-Fi, permitiéndole controlar la temperatura desde su celular, tableta o laptop.
Adicionalmente, Nest te muestra cuanta energía consumes diariamente y mensualmente en tu historial de energía. De esta manera, puedes ver cuando utilizas mas energía, ya sea en los fines de semana o un día de semana, y puedes implementar maneras de consumir menos energía.

I always get stomach aches at work and it’s only when the AC is on. Then im always going to the restroom. I cant just turn it off when i want and i wear a sweater but it doesnt work. I’ve also noticed this when Im in the car and the ac is on. When i turn it off it goes away. What is causeing this?.
