Se trata de una nueva máquina «todo-en-uno», la Thermomix de la compañía alemana Vorwerk & Co la cual tiene el poder de hacer doce –sí, DOCE– funciones a la vez; funciona para licuar, cocer al vapor, mezclar, pesar, revolver, moler, batir, emulsionar, calentar, amasar, cocinar y picar.

Esta máquina viene con un monitor a color el cual te lleva paso a paso por diferentes recetas digitalizadas. La computadora utiliza unos chips de memoria del tamaño de una moneda, los cuales contienen todas las colecciones de recetas. El tiempo de cocina y la temperatura ya están predeterminados por paso, para que los usuarios sólo tengan que ir añadiendo los ingredientes. El aparato pesa el contenido e indica la velocidad adecuada para mezclar los ingredientes.

La Thermomix no está disponible todavía para el público general, y no ha salido al mercado en América, pero cuando comience distribución tendrá un valor de $1,200.
