Londres está en planes de construir la primera «infinity pool» con vistas de 360° sobre un rascacielos.
Los diseño para la piscina de 600, 000 litros y un rascacielos de 55 pisos, llamado Infinity London, han sido revelados por Compass Pools. Los diseñadores indican que el concepto que han creado es de primera clase y nunca antes visto. 
La piscina estará hecha de acrilico fundido con paredes y pisos transparentes para que los visitantes dentro del edificio pueda ver las personas que disfrutan de la piscina sobre ellos. Como podrán ver, la piscina no tiene escaleras posteriores ni interiores para no afectar el diseño «limpio» que tendrá.
Entiendo que te estarás preguntando, como muchos, ¿cómo se entra y sale de esta piscina? Pues no te preocupes que no será vía helicóptero ni te tendrás que bajar por medio de paracaídas. Los diseñadores se encuentran trabajando la inegniería para una escalera en forma de esp
iral que rotará, mientras sube y baja a través del agua para permitir acceso y salida.
«Nos hemos encontrado con varios retos y dificultades técnicos para este edificio, uno de ellos siento cómo entrar y salir de la piscina» dijo el diseñador y director técnico, Alex Kemsley durante una entrevista con la compañía. «La solución está basada en una puerta de submarino, combinado con las escaleras en forma de espiral que subirán y bajarán. Es absolutamente innovador y un poco al estilo James Bond».
La piscina incluirá un anemómetro el cual medirá la velocidad del viento, estará conectado a un sistema automático de manejo de edificios controlado a computadora, para asegurarse que el agua no derrame a las calles y mantener cálida la temperatura del agua. Bajo la piscina, el edificio será un hotel 5 estrellas para el disfrute de todo el mundo.
La construcción dará comienzo en el 2020 una vez los dueños, asociados, y contratistas confirmen.
