Muchos piensan que los muebles inflables son de niños o para usar en el exterior. Tal vez pensarán que se ven baratos o cursi pero la diseñadora israelí Tehila Guy no piensa así. Guy desarrolló una silla inflable, a la que nombró Anda. Usó el estilo de muebles planos que se arman como inspiración. La joven diseñadora de 26 años quiso hacer algo distinto al resto del mercado. La hizo fácil de transportar, armar y mantener. Otra prioridad es que se pudiera conseguir a un precio módico.
La silla combina un asiento inflable con una estructura moderna de madera. Esto hace que sea cómoda y a la misma vez que se ve estéticamente distinta. De esta manera también logró que el envío fuese fácil. El plástico de la silla es completamente transparente y hace que sea fácil el combinarlo con otros muebles y no altera el tono que lleva el hogar.
Según Guy, “muchos consideran que los muebles inflables son para uso exterior pero yo quería revivir un diseño que estaba en su apogeo en la década de los 60.” A pesar de los materiales usados, la meta de Guy era crear una silla cómoda y que se viera bien
