Ubicada en el Hudson Valley de Nueva York, E-House tiene un diseños dramático pero elegante que utiliza la naturaleza para subsistir. Integra en sus materiales productos de construcción sumamente avanzados y sistemas que a su vez utilizan materiales tradicionales.
El arquitecto, Michael McDonough, explica en el siguiente video cómo el creó una cocina inteligente y autosuficiente. Él menciona que la cocina es el centro y el corazón de cada casa y por lo tanto, es donde más funcionalidad debes tener.
