¿Qué debemos tener en cuenta al momento de pintar un cuarto?
Elegir el color de las paredes:
Lo primero es lo primero, ¿cuál es el color que implementarás en el cuarto? Elegir el color de las paredes es esencial. Todo depende del tamaño del cuarto y los colores a implementar. Si la habitación es pequeña, es recomendable optar por el blanco, colores claros o tonos pasteles.
También, debes tener en cuenta si el color que has elegido combina con la decoración y los muebles del cuarto.Por otro lado, si te interesa tener un entorno luminoso y espacioso los colores a escoger estan entre los verdes, amarillos, cremas y blancos.
Tipo de luz en la habitación:
Los colores más claros reflejarán la luz y ampliarán los ambientes. Sin embargo, los colores oscuros absorben la luz y hacen que el espacio parezca más pequeño.
Elegir el tipo de pintura y su brillo:
Pintura MATE:
Este tipo de pintura no tiene brillo, es opaca y su ventaja es que ayuda a disimular algunas irregularidades que tenga la pared.
Pintura Brillante:
Este tipo de pintura es adecuada en zonas más activas y con bastante humedad. Ya que son pinturas más duraderas y aguantan la limpieza, se utilizan más para cocinas, fregaderos y entre otros.
Brochas, rolos (rodillos)…
Las brochas se utilizan para pintar bordes o pequeñas esquinas y por eso no es recomendable tener el brazo en tensión. Se debe aplicar la pintura en línea recta y tratar de evitar que la pintura se escurra hacia abajo.
Antes de comenzar a utilizar el rolo (rodillo), debes asegurarte de que no tenga pelusas. Luego, comienzas a pintar desde el techo hacia abajo evitando goteos de la pintura.
Sacar los muebles pequeños y cubrir los grandes
Cubrir los objetos de la habitación es esencial. Desde lo más mínimo hasta lo más grande podría estar saliendo perjudicado (pintado) y podría dañarse. Por eso, debemos cubrir bien todos los objetos y optar por sacar de la habitación los muebles pequeños y tapar con bolsas, toldos, plástico o sábanas viejas los muebles grandes.
Proteger el suelo
Al igual que proteges los muebles grandes, el suelo lo puedes proteger poniéndole cartones grandes o algún plástico para evitar que se pinte. Debido a esto, tendrás la facilidad de moverte con seguridad sin temor a pintar alguna área del suelo.
Comenzar con techo y luego paredes:
Esto aplica si estás considerando pintar el techo y la habitación completa. Se debe comenzar con el techo ya que durante el proceso puedes apoyarte de la pared sin correr el riesgo de mancharte. También, si llegase a salpicar pintura hacia alguna pared, no importaría ya que luego la estarás tapando cuando toque el turno de pintar las paredes. Por ultimo, comienzas a pintar las paredes.

- Cubre bien todos los objetos de la habitación antes de comenzar a pintar.
- No es recomendable pintar sobre pintura vieja.
- Utilizar cinta (tape) para cubrir los bordes de los enchufes, marcos o cualquier cosa que no desees pintar.
- No pases una segunda capa de pintura hasta que la primera quede completamente seca.
- Al usar brocha, aplica la pintura siempre en línea recta.
- Si cae pintura en el suelo, frotala con un trapo húmedo y jabón mientras esté fresca. Si se seca, deberías raspar y lijar.
