La colección RAY Sconce, diseñada por RUX y fabricada por su marca Stickbulb, es una serie de apliques de pared altamente minimalistas revestidos de madera, que consisten en una sola franja de luz en una sola tira de madera.
La colección es increíblemente versátil, con longitudes que van desde 18 pulgadas hasta 5 pies, así como en orientaciones verticales y horizontales. La luz puede mirar hacia la pared, creando un efecto de halo alrededor del aplique, o rozar la pared, creando un suave lavado de luz hacia arriba, hacia abajo, hacia la izquierda o hacia la derecha ”, dice el cofundador de Stickbulb, Christopher Beardsley.
Todas las maderas utilizadas en los artefactos de Stickbulb provienen de bosques cultivados de forma sostenible o se recuperan de edificios demolidos, torres de agua fuera de servicio y árboles que ya se han caído.
